Camps & Excursions
MEC conducts a number of camps and excursions of different lengths and for a range of purposes. These include a study camp for VCE and VCAL students; adventure activities for students; a camp for Years 8 & 9 students to develop their social and planning skills and Years 5 & 6 camps to significant locations (a city camp and an environmental camp). Students from Years 3 & 4 are involved in a camping program which rotates through different environments and locations.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) is provided by the Victorian Government to ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, educational and fun activities. (The CSEF payment cannot be used towards school charges such as essential education items, books, uniforms etc.)
